Happy july!
Can you believe we have been on this journey for 6 months?!!
Since the last blog, we have explored the Midwestern US states. We’ve seen the flat plains of Kansas, Oklahoma, the Sooner State, the beautiful Ozarks of Arkansas, the “Show Me” state of Missouri, Iowa, the Hawkeye State, and the Crossroads of America - Indiana.
Did we stop there?
No, we continued to drive a little southeast and hung out in Kentucky and Tennessee with friends before making our way to the Tarheel state, good ole North Carolina, our familiar territory where “flikking” is the comfortable mode of exercise!
Wow, the time seemed to fly by, but when we look back at where we have been, our minds are blown! When we left Alabama in February, our primary goal was to make it over the Mississippi. Look at us now, we have not only filled states on our map but also expanded our love for travel. Meeting new people along the way, whom we now call friends, and connecting with some of our subscribers has been amazing.
The sites we’ve seen, the experiences we’ve had have been unbelievable. We never dreamed we would experience a cattle drive with Long Horn cattle and actual cowboys in Texas, stand on the corner in Winslow, Az, the breathtaking scenery of the Grand Canyon, snow capped mountains of Colorado, Hoover Dam in Nevada or the St Louis Arch in Missouri, these are just a few wonders that we were able to see.
We are already trying to decide which direction we want to travel next. Do we go Northeast or Northwest? Who knows? Maybe we will just hop a ship and travel to Alaska!
Remember, when you travel with All About The Banks, you never know where you might end up because we enjoy the journey on the way to our destination!!!
