Catching Up and Enjoying the Journey

It’s been a while since we’ve chatted, but hopefully you’ve been following us on YouTube and keeping up with all our shenanigans!
Whew, we truly put “The Year of Us” to the test. The latter half of 2025 and moving into 2026 has been full of camping, socializing, family, and fun.
We hosted a camping social, attended the Adventure Bandits Bash in South Carolina, spent a month in the Florida Keys, enjoyed the Gulf Shores of Alabama, and wintered in the great state of Florida, where we attended the 2026 Florida RV Super Show and helped host the 2026 United Rally in West Palm Beach. When I tell you it has already been a busy year, that’s the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
As we’ve mentioned many times before, the highlight of our travels is always YOU—our friends and subscribers. You’ve supported us through Channel Memberships, encouraged us with comments and emails, inspired us with face-to-face encounters, and truly become the community we had hoped to build.
Your love and support of All About The Banks has allowed us to shine! We always want to be transparent and upfront with you. We’ve shared all the highs and lows of our journey, and you’ve always had our best interests at heart. That’s what true family support looks like!
At the time of this blog, we’re in our home state of North Carolina. We make our way back here a couple of times each year to spend time with Duane’s 102-year-old mom and to reconnect with the family and friends we’ve made over the years.
It’s always nice to take a little “get-away” time from the usual and enjoy the familiar. In Goldsboro, NC, where we lived and worked for 28 years, we grew to love our connections here. We never want to burn any bridges, so we cherish returning to our roots and spending time with lifelong friends whenever we can.
Our summer travels will begin in mid-May. The plan right now is to head to the Northeast. Neither of us has ever traveled to that area in the RV, and we’re both so excited for this adventure.
We’ve been gathering recommendations and suggestions from friends who have made that trek before us, and prayerfully, we’ll have an amazing experience. And as always, we’ll… “Enjoy the Journey on the Way to Our Destinations.”
