Hello friends! I'm excited to share our latest adventure at Lake Seminole with you.

Our drive took us to the East Bank Corps of Engineers (COE) Campground, right on the Georgia-Florida line. Getting into our site was quite the adventure! The curve was something else, and Duane had to do some fancy maneuvering to get us backed in just right. After all these years of marriage, these moments still make us laugh together. 😅

This was actually our first time staying at a COE campground, and what a treat! The whole place had a vibe that took us right back to when we first started RVing. Just peaceful, natural, and so quiet you could hear yourself think.

We lucked out with full hookups (50/30/20 amp), and those trees were absolutely gorgeous! This was such a welcome change of pace from what we've been experiencing lately.

Here's something funny - our site was so unlevel that our auto-leveling system just wouldn't work! We had to unhook everything and start from scratch without the blocks. Sometimes the simple way is the best way, right?

The mornings here were magical. One day, the fog was so thick we couldn't even see the lake behind us. Just us, our morning coffee, and the sound of water lapping at the shore. Pure bliss!

We found this sweet little place in Sneads, Florida called Johnny Max. Nothing fancy about it, but that seafood buffet 🤌!!!

The fried shrimp and catfish nuggets were absolutely delicious, and those hush puppies took me right back to my mama's cooking. And the water glasses? I've never seen anything like it - they were bigger than my head!

Here's something that'll make you laugh - we showed up "early" for lunch, only to realize we'd crossed into Central Time without even knowing it. That's what happens when you camp on the state line! 🤣

Before heading out, we checked out the Woodruff Dam Overlook. It's pretty impressive seeing all that water held back by human engineering. Makes you feel pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

The best part? Three nights only cost us $42 with our America the Beautiful Senior Pass. If you're 62 or older and don't have one yet, what are you waiting for? It's one of the best investments we've made for camping.

We're headed to Panama City next, but I have to say - this peaceful little spot on Lake Seminole has a special place in our hearts now. Sometimes the unplanned stops turn out to be the sweetest.

✨ Remember to enjoy the journey on the way to your destination.

🙏 God bless, and we'll see you down the road!
